Colorado
Virtual IOP for Victor.
Victor, Colorado, a town rich in history from its gold mining roots, continues to face modern challenges that can affect mental health and well-being. The Redpoint Center’s Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a vital resource for local residents who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, or substance use disorders. Here, the need for accessible mental health services is crucial.
The Virtual IOP is designed specifically for individuals in Victor and surrounding areas, providing comprehensive support without the need for travel. Participants can attend convenient morning and evening sessions, allowing them to balance their work, school, or family commitments while focusing on their recovery journey.
At The Redpoint Center, we take a holistic approach to treatment. Our programs address various mental health challenges, including anxiety and depressive disorders, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Utilizing evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and ACT, we ensure that each participant receives tailored care. We also accept most major insurance plans, making it easier for Victor residents to embark on their path to recovery.
The barrier here is usually the clock rather than the map. Intensive outpatient care asks for three to five sessions a week, and once a commute is attached to each one, the program starts competing with a shift, a pickup time, or a caregiving hour it was never going to win. Our Virtual IOP across Colorado removes the drive, which for most people is the part that made the schedule impossible.
Substance use and mental health
What we treat.
Mental health conditions on their own, substance use, and the two together. The same care, and the same evidence-based modalities, we provide in our Colorado offices.
In session
What your week looks like.
Sessions run three to five days a week, mornings or evenings, so the schedule can be built around work, school, or childcare.
Individual therapy
One-to-one sessions with your primary clinician, focused on what you are actually working on.
Group therapy
Live groups with the same peers each week. Nothing is pre-recorded, and that steady room is a large part of why the format holds up.
Family support
Sessions built to strengthen the people around you, run on video when getting everyone into one room is the hard part.
Recovery coaching
Practical, trauma-informed support alongside the clinical hours, aimed at the week between sessions.
Access and evidence
Why this format fits Victor.
Choosing The Redpoint Center means selecting a provider that understands the unique needs of Victor residents. We prioritize local accessibility and accept most major insurance plans.
The obvious worry about a screen is that it buys a lesser version of the program. The evidence does not support that. A systematic review of telemedicine for substance use treatment covering 13 studies, 7 of them randomized controlled trials, found no significant difference in substance use outcomes between in-person and telehealth care, with treatment satisfaction and therapeutic alliance generally comparable. The American Psychological Association describes the same pattern in mental health care, where telehealth is essentially as effective as face-to-face psychotherapy, with higher retention.
Clinicians work in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, and acceptance and commitment therapy, chosen around what you are working on rather than a fixed curriculum. Sessions run on secure, HIPAA-compliant video, and the confidentiality rules that apply in our offices apply online. Our in-person IOP page sets out what intensive outpatient care involves in full.
In person
An office, if you would rather.
Virtual IOP is a full program, not a stopgap, and most people who start it finish it on video. But telehealth is a choice here rather than a constraint: The Redpoint Center is a Colorado provider with six offices around the state, and the Pikes Peak region is served by our Thornton office.
Some people start on video and move in person later. Some do the reverse when a job changes or winter closes a pass. Some split the difference, keeping group online and coming in for individual sessions. Admissions can talk through which shape fits, and switching later does not mean starting over.
