Colorado
Virtual IOP for Livermore.
Livermore, nestled in beautiful Larimer County, is a close-knit community surrounded by the stunning Colorado landscape. Residents here may face unique challenges related to mental health and substance use, making the availability of a Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) essential. With the added stressors of rural living, having access to comprehensive care from the comfort of home can be a lifeline for many.
The Redpoint Center’s Virtual IOP is designed specifically for individuals in Livermore and surrounding areas seeking effective treatment. Our flexible scheduling allows residents to attend sessions in the mornings or evenings, accommodating work, school, and family responsibilities. This convenience ensures that high-quality mental health and addiction recovery services are within reach for more people locally.
At The Redpoint Center, we focus on a holistic approach to treatment, addressing various mental health conditions such as anxiety and depressive disorders, as well as substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. Utilizing evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, EMDR, and ACT, our dedicated team of licensed professionals provides individualized therapy, group sessions, and family support. We accept most major insurance providers, ensuring that comprehensive care is accessible to all Livermore residents.
Distance is the recurring problem, not the exception. A narrative review of 15 studies of telehealth across rural American communities found improved access, with lower travel cost and time and higher patient satisfaction, including specialty care those residents could not otherwise reach. Our Virtual IOP across Colorado is built around that reality, and it runs the same way in Livermore as it does anywhere else in the state.
Substance use and mental health
What we treat.
Mental health conditions on their own, substance use, and the two together. The same care, and the same evidence-based modalities, we provide in our Colorado offices.
In session
What your week looks like.
Sessions run three to five days a week, mornings or evenings, so the schedule can be built around work, school, or childcare.
Individual therapy
One-to-one sessions with your primary clinician, focused on what you are actually working on.
Group therapy
Live groups with the same peers each week. Nothing is pre-recorded, and that steady room is a large part of why the format holds up.
Family support
Sessions built to strengthen the people around you, run on video when getting everyone into one room is the hard part.
Recovery coaching
Practical, trauma-informed support alongside the clinical hours, aimed at the week between sessions.
Access and evidence
Why this format fits Livermore.
Choosing The Redpoint Center means selecting a provider that understands the local community and its unique challenges. We prioritize HIPAA-compliant technology for secure virtual sessions, protecting privacy and confidentiality. Our acceptance of most major insurance plans streamlines the process of receiving care.
The obvious worry about a screen is that it buys a lesser version of the program. The evidence does not support that. A systematic review of telemedicine for substance use treatment covering 13 studies, 7 of them randomized controlled trials, found no significant difference in substance use outcomes between in-person and telehealth care, with treatment satisfaction and therapeutic alliance generally comparable. The American Psychological Association describes the same pattern in mental health care, where telehealth is essentially as effective as face-to-face psychotherapy, with higher retention.
Clinicians work in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, and acceptance and commitment therapy, chosen around what you are working on rather than a fixed curriculum. Sessions run on secure, HIPAA-compliant video, and the confidentiality rules that apply in our offices apply online. Our in-person IOP page sets out what intensive outpatient care involves in full.
In person
An office, if you would rather.
Virtual IOP is a full program, not a stopgap, and most people who start it finish it on video. But telehealth is a choice here rather than a constraint: The Redpoint Center is a Colorado provider with six offices around the state, and the northern Front Range is served by our Fort Collins office.
Some people start on video and move in person later. Some do the reverse when a job changes or winter closes a pass. Some split the difference, keeping group online and coming in for individual sessions. Admissions can talk through which shape fits, and switching later does not mean starting over.
