Colorado

Virtual IOP for Fountain.

Fountain, with its vibrant community, is part of the beautiful Front Range Urban Corridor in Colorado. As many residents face challenges related to mental health and substance use, having access to effective treatment options is crucial. The Redpoint Center’s Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides a valuable resource, allowing local individuals to seek help without needing to travel far from home.

Our Virtual IOP is designed for Fountain residents and is easily accessible to surrounding communities in El Paso County. This flexible program offers sessions in the mornings and evenings, ensuring that participants can balance their treatment with work, school, or family commitments. The convenience of virtual access means that recovery is just a click away, making it easier for individuals to prioritize their mental health.

At The Redpoint Center, we take a comprehensive approach to treatment, addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and substance use disorders. Our evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and ACT, empower clients with the tools they need for recovery. We welcome Fountain residents to reach out, as we accept most major insurance providers, ensuring that quality care is within reach.

The barrier here is usually the clock rather than the map. Intensive outpatient care asks for three to five sessions a week, and once a commute is attached to each one, the program starts competing with a shift, a pickup time, or a caregiving hour it was never going to win. Our Virtual IOP across Colorado removes the drive, which for most people is the part that made the schedule impossible.

In session

What your week looks like.

Sessions run three to five days a week, mornings or evenings, so the schedule can be built around work, school, or childcare.

Individual therapy

One-to-one sessions with your primary clinician, focused on what you are actually working on.

Group therapy

Live groups with the same peers each week. Nothing is pre-recorded, and that steady room is a large part of why the format holds up.

Family support

Sessions built to strengthen the people around you, run on video when getting everyone into one room is the hard part.

Recovery coaching

Practical, trauma-informed support alongside the clinical hours, aimed at the week between sessions.

Access and evidence

Why this format fits Fountain.

Fountain residents should choose The Redpoint Center for our deep understanding of local needs and challenges. Our HIPAA-compliant technology ensures secure and private access to care, allowing individuals to receive help from the comfort of their homes.

The obvious worry about a screen is that it buys a lesser version of the program. The evidence does not support that. A systematic review of telemedicine for substance use treatment covering 13 studies, 7 of them randomized controlled trials, found no significant difference in substance use outcomes between in-person and telehealth care, with treatment satisfaction and therapeutic alliance generally comparable. The American Psychological Association describes the same pattern in mental health care, where telehealth is essentially as effective as face-to-face psychotherapy, with higher retention.

Clinicians work in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, and acceptance and commitment therapy, chosen around what you are working on rather than a fixed curriculum. Sessions run on secure, HIPAA-compliant video, and the confidentiality rules that apply in our offices apply online. Our in-person IOP page sets out what intensive outpatient care involves in full.

In person

An office, if you would rather.

Virtual IOP is a full program, not a stopgap, and most people who start it finish it on video. But telehealth is a choice here rather than a constraint: The Redpoint Center is a Colorado provider with six offices around the state, and the Pikes Peak region is served by our Thornton office.

Some people start on video and move in person later. Some do the reverse when a job changes or winter closes a pass. Some split the difference, keeping group online and coming in for individual sessions. Admissions can talk through which shape fits, and switching later does not mean starting over.

Good to know

Virtual IOP questions, answered.

Who is eligible for Virtual IOP in Fountain?

Virtual IOP sits between weekly therapy and residential care: more structure than an hour a week, without detox or 24-hour supervision. You need to be physically located in Colorado while you attend, plus a stable internet connection, a device with a camera, and somewhere private to speak. You do not need to be technical. A short call with admissions settles whether it is the right level for you.

Will I ever have to come into an office?

No. Virtual IOP is delivered entirely over secure video, and no part of the program requires an in-person visit. Redpoint does have six Colorado offices, including Thornton, so coming in is available if you would prefer it or if your needs change, but it is an option rather than a requirement.
