LPC
Cydney Swadinsky
Clinical Program Manager. Greeley office.
Background
About Cydney.
Cydney Swadinsky, LPC received her Bachelors in Business Leadership remotely in 2016 from Ecclesia College and Masters of Professional Counseling in 2019 from Southeastern University in Florida. In 2021, she relocated from Florida to Colorado in hopes for a change of pace and scenery. She found exactly what she was looking for. She has practiced in community settings for nearly 16 years and has practiced professionally in mental health for nearly 10 years. Much of her practice has been with teens, individuals, and families in various different settings and transitioned in the middle of her career to dual diagnosis.
From long term residential at all acuities to traditional outpatient talk therapy, Cydney has the experience and practice. She believes that therapy is a sacred space where all are welcome. Cydney takes a comfortable, laid back, come-as-you-are approach to therapy. She aims to honor the client's autonomy, dignity, and sense of self; a champion for self expression and creativity in all spaces. Her practice involves using eclectic, trauma-informed, evidence-based, and person centered approaches using models like IFS, CBT, DBT, ACT, and frameworks such as experiential, psychoanalytic, mindfulness-based, humanistic, spirituality, philosophical, and existential approaches.
When she is not at work or practicing therapy, you can find her at the gym, in the kitchen whipping up something good, or relaxing at home with her partner and two cats Buffalo and Newt.
