Dr. Hashem is our new Medical Director and a board-certified psychiatrist. He also serves as Medical Director at Synergy Mental Health and Wellness Integrated, part of the Turnwell network. He completed his psychiatry residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn and earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine.

Dr. Hashem brings significant experience in outpatient and emergency psychiatry, particularly working with adults with serious mental illness, complex medical needs, and co-occurring substance use disorders. He has also led the implementation of hospital-wide clinical programs, including suicide risk assessment protocols and integrated outpatient services.

Beyond his experience, what stood out to us most in getting to know Dr. Hashem is the way he approaches people. He listens closely, is thoughtful and approachable, and genuinely cares about providing excellent, individualized care to each client. We're very happy to welcome him to Redpoint.
