Wyoming
Virtual IOP for Cody.
Cody, known as the gateway to Yellowstone National Park, is a vibrant community that faces its own set of mental health and substance use challenges. With the unique lifestyle and rural setting of Wyoming, residents may find it difficult to access traditional treatment options. This is where The Redpoint Center’s Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) becomes a valuable resource, providing essential support directly to those in Cody and surrounding areas.
Our Virtual IOP is designed to serve residents in Cody and nearby communities, ensuring that you can receive the care you need without the burden of long travel. With flexible scheduling options, participants have the convenience of attending sessions in the morning or evening, making it easier to balance work, school, and family commitments while prioritizing mental health and recovery.
The Redpoint Center takes a comprehensive approach to treatment, addressing a variety of issues including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and substance use disorders, as well as co-occurring conditions. Utilizing evidence-based modalities like CBT, DBT, EMDR, and ACT, our licensed professionals are dedicated to providing compassionate care.
Distance is the recurring problem, not the exception. A narrative review of 15 studies of telehealth across rural American communities found improved access, lower travel cost and time, and higher patient satisfaction, including access to care those residents could not otherwise obtain. Our Virtual IOP across Wyoming is built around that reality, and it runs the same way in Cody as it does anywhere else in the state.
Substance use and mental health
What we treat.
Mental health conditions on their own, substance use, and the two together. The same care, and the same evidence-based modalities, as in our Colorado offices.
In session
What your week looks like.
Sessions run three to five days a week, mornings or evenings, so the schedule can be built around shift work, seasonal work, school, or childcare.
Individual therapy
One-to-one sessions with your primary clinician, focused on what you are actually working on.
Group therapy
Live groups with the same peers each week. Nothing is pre-recorded, and that steady room is a large part of why the format holds up.
Family support
Sessions built to strengthen the people around you, run on video when they live an hour of driving apart.
Recovery coaching
Practical, trauma-informed support alongside the clinical hours, aimed at the week between sessions.
Access and privacy
Why this format fits Cody.
Cody residents can trust The Redpoint Center for our deep understanding of local needs and challenges. We prioritize your privacy and security with our HIPAA-compliant technology, ensuring a safe environment for all participants.
The obvious worry about a screen is that it buys a lesser version of the program. The evidence does not support that. A systematic review of telemedicine for substance use treatment covering 13 studies, 7 of them randomized controlled trials, found no significant difference in substance use outcomes between in-person and telehealth care, with treatment satisfaction and therapeutic alliance generally comparable. The American Psychological Association describes the same pattern in mental health care, where telehealth is essentially as effective as face-to-face psychotherapy, with higher retention.
Clinicians work in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, and acceptance and commitment therapy, chosen around what you are actually working on rather than a fixed curriculum. Privacy tends to weigh heavier in a small community, where a truck parked outside a clinic is its own announcement, and attending from a space you choose removes that problem entirely. Our in-person IOP page sets out what intensive outpatient care involves in full.
