Colorado
Virtual IOP for Cripple Creek.
Nestled near the historic gold mining town of Cripple Creek, residents face unique challenges that can impact mental health and wellbeing. The Redpoint Center’s Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers tailored support for those dealing with anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders, ensuring that the local community has access to vital resources.
Our Virtual IOP is designed specifically for Cripple Creek and surrounding areas, allowing residents to connect with our compassionate team through a secure online platform. We offer flexible scheduling options, with sessions available in the mornings and evenings, making it easier for individuals to balance work, school, and family commitments while prioritizing their recovery journey.
The Redpoint Center takes a comprehensive approach to treatment, providing mental health care for anxiety and depressive disorders, alongside substance use and co-occurring disorder treatments. Utilizing evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and ACT, our licensed professionals are equipped to support you. We accept most major insurances, ensuring that quality care is accessible to all Cripple Creek residents seeking help.
The barrier here is usually the clock rather than the map. Intensive outpatient care asks for three to five sessions a week, and once a commute is attached to each one, the program starts competing with a shift, a pickup time, or a caregiving hour it was never going to win. Our Virtual IOP across Colorado removes the drive, which for most people is the part that made the schedule impossible.
Substance use and mental health
What we treat.
Mental health conditions on their own, substance use, and the two together. The same care, and the same evidence-based modalities, we provide in our Colorado offices.
In session
What your week looks like.
Sessions run three to five days a week, mornings or evenings, so the schedule can be built around work, school, or childcare.
Individual therapy
One-to-one sessions with your primary clinician, focused on what you are actually working on.
Group therapy
Live groups with the same peers each week. Nothing is pre-recorded, and that steady room is a large part of why the format holds up.
Family support
Sessions built to strengthen the people around you, run on video when getting everyone into one room is the hard part.
Recovery coaching
Practical, trauma-informed support alongside the clinical hours, aimed at the week between sessions.
Access and evidence
Why this format fits Cripple Creek.
Cripple Creek residents can trust The Redpoint Center for their mental health and addiction treatment needs, as we understand the local community's unique challenges. Our HIPAA-compliant technology protects privacy and security, while our acceptance of most major insurances makes accessing care straightforward.
The obvious worry about a screen is that it buys a lesser version of the program. The evidence does not support that. A systematic review of telemedicine for substance use treatment covering 13 studies, 7 of them randomized controlled trials, found no significant difference in substance use outcomes between in-person and telehealth care, with treatment satisfaction and therapeutic alliance generally comparable. The American Psychological Association describes the same pattern in mental health care, where telehealth is essentially as effective as face-to-face psychotherapy, with higher retention.
Clinicians work in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, EMDR, and acceptance and commitment therapy, chosen around what you are working on rather than a fixed curriculum. Sessions run on secure, HIPAA-compliant video, and the confidentiality rules that apply in our offices apply online. Our in-person IOP page sets out what intensive outpatient care involves in full.
In person
An office, if you would rather.
Virtual IOP is a full program, not a stopgap, and most people who start it finish it on video. But telehealth is a choice here rather than a constraint: The Redpoint Center is a Colorado provider with six offices around the state, and the Pikes Peak region is served by our Thornton office.
Some people start on video and move in person later. Some do the reverse when a job changes or winter closes a pass. Some split the difference, keeping group online and coming in for individual sessions. Admissions can talk through which shape fits, and switching later does not mean starting over.
