Erin received her undergraduate in Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado and began her work with adolescents and adults in crisis counseling. After years of working with anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief and loss, her passion began to shift toward substance abuse. After receiving her master's in social work, she has dedicated her career to working with individuals on their journey of recovery. Her focus and approach to therapy includes identifying everyone's unique strengths and capabilities. Erin understands that often, substance use is a symptom of underlying hurts and wounds. It is her goal to better understand the individual so that she can build rapport with her clients, gaining their trust to look further into the underlying root causes of one's behavior.

Her experience includes inpatient, outpatient, emergency psychiatric services, and community mental health. She is passionate about helping people uncover their unique strengths and using them as a foundation for positive change. Erin incorporates a strengths-based approach, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic approach, psychoeducation and motivational interviewing to meet her clients exactly where they are at. She loves being their biggest cheerleader and advocate. She creates a safe and supportive space where clients can explore the connection between their thoughts and behaviors, build resilience, and find hope in their journey toward well-being. Erin has a passion for group counseling, recognizing how important support can be for one's success.

In her free time, Erin enjoys training for half marathons, climbing the beautiful 14er's of Colorado, taking on any new adventure, and watching her three kids in their endless sport endeavors.
